About the Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and safety- focused Baler Operator to join our team. The Baler Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial baling equipment used to compact and prepare foam scrap and other production materials for recycling, disposal, or further processing.

The successful candidate will work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment and will be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient baler operations while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and protected work practices at all times.
- Operate and monitor industrial baling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collect, sort, and feed foam scrap and other approved materials into the baler.
- Inspect baled material to ensure proper compaction, size, and quality.
- Secure and label completed bales according to company procedures.
- Monitor equipment during operation and report unusual noises, malfunctions,



or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform basic equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area, with housekeeping as a top priority throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other production team members.
- Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager on shift.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating a baler, compactor, or other industrial machinery is an asset.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, recycling, or material-handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout the shift.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean work environment

Pay: $18.00 per hour
