What you'll do

- Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, coloring and styling

- Maintain cleanliness of salon and your station

- Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends to be able to recommend and suggest proper styles, trends and what the client is looking for

- Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner

Hair Stylist/Barber Qualifications

- Current Cosmetologist or Barber License Required

- 2+ Years of Professional Experience Preferred

- Able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills

- You are a go-getter,



you're self-motivated, and have an engaging personality

- Hot towel shaves and straight-razor detailing

- Consult with clients on cut, shape and maintenance

- Recommend grooming products where they genuinely fit the client

- Keep your station, tools and workspace sanitized to Ottawa Public Health standards

- Manage your own booking notes and rebook clients before they leave

- Comfortable with a range of hair types and textures

- Reliable, on time, and easy to work beside

- Available some evenings and Saturdays

- Own clippers, trimmers and shears

Nice to have

- Ontario Hairstylist Certificate of Qualification (332A)

- Bilingual English/French

Pay: $18.80-$23.00 per hour
