Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Support food handling and food safety protocols to ensure high standards of hygiene and quality
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards

Skills





- Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient cashiering and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to serve confidently while maintaining a friendly attitude in a quick-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing payments accurately
- Experience in food preparation or the food industry is highly desirable
