TEAKO is looking for a friendly and reliable Barista / Café Team Member to join our team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys making drinks, working with customers, and being part of a small café environment. Barista experience is an asset, but we're also open to someone who is motivated and willing to learn.

This position will also involve learning basic food preparation and kitchen duties, so we're looking for someone comfortable doing more than just making drinks.

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, bubble tea, tea and other beverages
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Take customer orders and operate the POS
- Learn and assist with sandwiches, breakfast items and other food preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized café and work area
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties




- Help wherever needed during busy periods

We're looking for someone who:

- Is friendly, dependable and comfortable working with customers
- Has barista or café experience (preferred, but not required)
- Is willing to learn food preparation
- Can work independently and as part of a small team
- Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Has valuable communication and organizational skills
- Is available for flexible shifts, including evenings and/or weekends

Experience: Barista, café, restaurant or food-service experience is an asset. Training can be provided for the right person. Job Type: Part-time / Full-time availability can be discussed.

Location: TEAKO Café, Toronto, ON

Pay: $17.60-$22.48 per hour
