Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant café team. This role involves preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within the café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, possess excellent time management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience is required.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and consistency
- Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and qualified demeanor
- Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with food preparation and food service tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas following health standards
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including retail math and cashiering duties
- Support sales efforts by engaging with customers and promoting menu items




- Restock supplies and ensure the café is well-organized throughout shifts

Experience

- Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
- Experience in food safety, food preparation, serving, and general food handling within a café or retail environment is beneficial
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
