Island Mix Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a Bartender to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about mixology, guest service, and delivering an unforgettable experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Craft cocktail experience (required)
- Solid knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and service
- Smart Serve certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy (POS system familiarity)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with guests and provide outstanding customer service
- Create both classic and signature cocktails that exceed expectations
- Recommend drinks based on guest preferences
- Maintain and present an appealing bar menu
- Check IDs and ensure all alcohol service laws are followed
- Restock and organize bar supplies and inventory
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized
- Follow all food, beverage, and safety regulations
- Support a positive, team-focused work environment
