Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following established recipes and safety standards
- Manage cash transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate cashiering and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all food industry standards for responsible serving,
including checking IDs for alcohol service and promoting responsible drinking
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; familiarity with serving in a busy setting is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering tools
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and calculating totals accurately. Experience working with VLTS is a plus
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
