We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Before & After School Program - Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Support children with homework or tutoring needs, encouraging positive learning habits
- Foster inclusive environments that respect diverse backgrounds and individual needs
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space in compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to develop program schedules and adapt activities as needed to meet children’s interests
Requirements
- Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with the appropriate licensing body
- Experience working with children in early childhood or school-age programs
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to plan engaging activities that support learning through play and tutoring techniques
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe environment while fostering independence and social skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development in a dynamic setting
