Overview

Carseland Busy Bee Association is seeking reliable, caring, and energetic individuals to join our Before and After School Care team. This is a termed position that will cover the 2026 school year, and while initially set for a fixed term, there is a possibility of contract extension. Please note that the salary listed reflects the base wage, prior to any wage top-up available through the Early Childhood Educator Workforce Support Program.

You will be responsible for supervising children before and after school hours, supporting their social and emotional development, and fostering a fun and inclusive atmosphere that encourages growth and learning.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and engage children during before and after-school programming
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care
- Maintain positive communication with families and team members
- Follow all licensing, health,



and safety regulations

Requirements

- Valid Level 2 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children in educational or care settings.
- Strong skills in tutoring and teaching to support children’s academic development.
- Passion for early childhood education with a genuine interest in nurturing young minds.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create an inclusive setting that celebrates diversity and promotes kindness.
- Reliable, energetic, and motivated to contribute positively to a team dedicated to child development.
