BGC Miramichi is looking for a Program Director who is, above all, reliable — someone the kids can count on to be there, the staff can count on to lead, and our community can count on to deliver. If you have real experience working with children and youth and you're ready to bring energy, structure, and heart to a full-time leadership role, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

● Lead with consistency — plan and deliver year-round programs for ages 5 to 18 that kids actually look forward to.

● Build a robust team — train, guide, and support Program Staff so every shift runs smoothly.

● Grow young leaders — mentor youth volunteers and give them real responsibility.

● Champion the Club — help spread the word about our mission through outreach, social media, and community connection.

● Keep standards high — uphold BGC Canada's Operating Standards and the 4-Pillars of Model for Success in everything you do.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

● Reliability first — someone who shows up, follows through, and can be counted on without exception.

● Real experience with children and youth — in programming, recreation, education,



or a related setting.

● A natural leader — confident guiding staff and volunteers, and comfortable making decisions.

● A positive role model — honest, fair, respectful, and genuinely invested in young people's growth.

● Willingness to complete required screening — including a Vulnerable Sector Check, as is standard for all roles working directly with children.

● Availability for a set evening schedule — our programs run after school and into the evening, so a set number of evenings each week is a core part of this role — it's when kids need us most.

● Willing to obtain a Class 4 driver's license — within 3 months of employment.
