We are seeking a French Bilingual Quality Engineer (QE) with experience in both manual and automated software testing to join our growing team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web and enterprise applications by developing and executing effective testing strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality software, fluent in both French and English, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Build, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks and regression test suites.

Perform functional, integration, regression, API, system, and end-to-end testing.

Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through to resolution.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on product quality, risks, and release readiness.

Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to QA practices, automation frameworks, and testing processes.

Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.

Fluency in French and English (verbal and written).





Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.

Experience programming in one or more languages, including Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.

Experience with defect and work item tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Working knowledge of Git and version control best practices.

Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.

ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent QA certification.

Experience working in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments.

Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing purposes.

Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000–$105,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
