THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the bowling alley supervisor, the bowling alley attendant monitors the facility, ensures that the lanes are ready to be used, and sets the schedule for the use of the facility. They carry out routine maintenance and safety inspections, checks the return of equipment, and ensures the cleanliness of the facility. In addition, they complete all accident reports, takes food and drink orders, collect equipment rental fees, and prepares bank deposits.
Qualifications Needed
Education, Certifications and Licenses An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in New Brunswick (19)
Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (NB), as required
Principles of Healthy Child Development, an asset
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Food Handling Certification, as required
Experience In cash handling In ensuring safety protocols and procedures In bowling alley and office operations
Competencies, Skills And Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
Language Requirements
Bilingual (English and French) Essential
Reading: None
Writing: None
Oral: Functional
