Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to shape metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that parts are produced according to strict specifications, contributing to the high-quality standards our company prides itself on.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets based on detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery such as CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or cranes while adhering to safety protocols.




- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes.

Experience

- Prior experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, and CNC programming is advantageous.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and basic math skills is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, calipers, and quality inspection procedures enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Ability to work with mechanical knowledge of machining processes and utilize safety equipment such as cranes and forklifts effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions precisely are key qualities for success.
