As a FOH Server be part of our front house team, you’ll play a dual role — part of coffee and food genius, part of service provider. In this role, you’ll need to be…

· Motivated, creative and knowledge about specialty coffee

· Sharing your enthusiasm for flavors, quality produce and technique

· Reliable, organized, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys interacting with customers

· Willing to learn specialty coffee, eager to learn specialty coffee/tea knowledge, techniques and cultures

Duties

- Greet guests warmly with a friendly, energetic attitude to set a positive tone for their dining experience
- Take accurate breakfast orders using POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, following food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately,



including processing payments and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces to ensure a welcoming environment at all times

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills, breakfast, brunch, cafe or restaurant experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks seamlessly during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue growth
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated ability in hospitality or customer service roles with a positive attitude toward teamwork
