Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including researching target markets, generating leads, and nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market analysis, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating site visits or consultations, and collaborating with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs.

The specialist will regularly communicate with clients to understand their requirements, follow up on quotes, and support contract negotiations to drive sustainable growth.



This position also involves tracking performance metrics, updating CRM records, and contributing to strategic business development initiatives.

Qualifications

- Robust Analytical Skills and experience in Market Research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Excellent Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written skills, for client interactions and internal collaboration.
- Demonstrated Lead Generation capabilities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing a sales pipeline.
- Proven Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships and ensure a positive client experience.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in facility services, janitorial, or related industries.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace).
- Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Professional working proficiency in English; French language skills are a strong advantage in the Montreal market.
