We are seeking a Software Developer who is eager to work in an innovative, agile, and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of critical software solutions while working closely with development, quality assurance, security, support, and documentation teams.
Key Responsibilities Participate in requirements analysis, architectural discussions, planning activities, and effort estimations.
Collaborate with architects, senior developers, and engineering leadership to design and implement software components aligned with architectural requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain software components using Bash, C, C++, Java, and Python.
Integrate networking and cryptographic libraries, including public, legacy, and open-source solutions, across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
Participate in design reviews, code inspections, and software quality initiatives.
Develop unit tests and contribute to test automation efforts to ensure application reliability and maintainability.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to create Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios and translate acceptance criteria into executable tests.
Contribute to feature documentation, including scope, functionality, and limitations.
Collaborate with security teams to apply security best practices, mitigate risks, and address identified vulnerabilities.
Partner with development and support teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues identified during testing or field deployments.
Apply software development standards and internal best practices to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability.
Provide accurate effort estimates during planning activities and proactively communicate potential deviations.
Maintain project tracking information and document progress within project management tools.
Share and present work results with stakeholders as required.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools and practices to improve productivity across design, development, testing, documentation, and delivery activities.
Required Profile
Experience in software development for system-level and application-level solutions.
Robust proficiency in C and C++.
Experience with Java, Python, and Bash scripting.
Knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
Experience integrating networking and cryptographic libraries.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with TDD, BDD, and test automation.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to software quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.
