Freebird Market is a chef-driven café, market, and catering company producing fresh food daily from our 8,000 sq. ft. production kitchen. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Café & Market Team Member to join our team.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing great service, and staying busy in a fast-paced food environment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional service
- Taking customer orders and answering questions about our menu and products
- Operating the POS system and accurately handling transactions
- Preparing coffee, tea, espresso-based beverages, matcha, and other drinks
- Serving salads, prepared foods, and retail products
- Heating and finishing sandwiches and pizzas to order
- Packaging catering, takeaway, and retail orders
- Restocking displays and ensuring products are well presented
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming café and market
- Following food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
- Supporting your teammates and assisting with daily operations as needed

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, retail, cafés, restaurants, or hospitality
- Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills




- Comfortable interacting with customers throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Full-time availability, including evenings and weekends

Assets
- Previous barista experience
- Smart Serve certification
- Experience operating a POS system
- Previous café, restaurant, or food retail experience
