Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes with intricate designs, using techniques such as piping, fondant work, and airbrushing to create visually stunning desserts
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed diligently to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist customers with selecting custom cakes and baked items, providing friendly and knowledgeable service
- Package finished products securely for delivery or display, maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery station, including equipment sanitization and ingredient storage




- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while upholding high standards of food quality and safety

Qualifications

- Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Solid skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates familiarity with baking equipment and food packaging processes
- Passion for creating visually appealing desserts that meet high standards of taste and presentation
