Role: Senior Project Manager, Industrial Duration: Permanent Working Model: Hybrid (4 day On-Site, 1 day remote) Location: Mississauga, ON Salary: $140,000-$175,000 + Bonus + 3 Weeks Vacation + Company Car & Benefits Your new company This organization is one of Canada’s largest construction firms, with decades of experience delivering complex, large-scale projects across the country. The company is recognized for its collaborative delivery approach and culture. Your new role As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead all aspects of project execution on a large industrial project. This is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid work model (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). You will partner closely with the Project Director and receive mentorship from senior leadership. The role carries full accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, procurement, risk, and stakeholder management. Your responsibilities will include: Lead end‑to‑end project execution using structured delivery frameworks covering production, quality, and safety. Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor agreements, contract administration, RFIs, variations, and financial approvals. Manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and performance reporting to achieve key milestones and profitability targets. Guide, coach, and motivate project teams to drive accountability, resilience, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, designers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders. Champion a strong safety culture through regular site reviews, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk mitigation.
Support growth initiatives by strengthening client relationships and identifying repeat or new business opportunities. Drive effective project close‑out, capture lessons learned, and contribute to ongoing process and performance improvements. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Industry Experience: 10+ years with a mid-to-large general contractor, including major project delivery experience Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Senior Construction Project Manager on industrial projects valued at $500M+ Nuclear Experience: Proven involvement in large-scale nuclear projects Team Leadership: Demonstrated success leading large, multi-disciplinary teams in complex, high-pressure environments Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of construction trades, safety systems, compliance frameworks, and contract administration Education: Technical diploma or degree in Construction or Engineering Licensing: Valid Class 5 driver’s license Core Attributes (non-negotiable): Collaboration, grit, and accountability Assets (Nice to Have): Gold Seal Certification (GSC or GSI) PMP designation What you’ll get in return Base salary: $140,000–$175,000 Discretionary bonus 3 weeks of vacation Comprehensive benefits package RRSP matching program The prospect to work on one of Canada’s most advanced projects Ongoing mentorship from senior leadership and long-term growth within an employee-owned organization What you need to do now If this opportunity sounds like a fit, please reach out or apply with your most recent resume.
