We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Helper to assist with cabinet production, deliveries, material handling, and on-site installation work.

This is a hands-on position split between our cabinet shop and active job sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, dependable, comfortable using basic hand tools, and willing to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Shop duties may include:

- Packing and preparing cabinets and millwork for delivery
- Loading and unloading cabinets, doors, materials, and hardware
- Helping with deliveries to job sites
- Material handling and distribution throughout the shop
- Assisting with cabinet assembly when required
- Assisting at the edgebander and other production areas
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe

Job-site duties may include:

- Distributing cabinets and materials to the appropriate suites or work areas
- Installing cabinet door hinges and hinge plates
- Assisting cabinet installers and carpenters
- Moving and positioning cabinets and millwork
- Removing packaging and construction debris
- Keeping suites and work areas clean and organized




- Helping with deficiencies and other basic installation tasks as experience develops

Requirements
- Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50+ lbs
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in both a manufacturing shop and active construction sites
- Basic experience with hand tools is an asset
- Cabinet, carpentry, construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn cabinet manufacturing and installation processes
- Valid driver's licence is an asset

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
