Full-Time | Carpenter / Finish Carpenter 6 Month Term

Urban Timber & texel are building out a brand-recent space in Edmonton, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Carpenter to help bring it to life.

This isn't a typical construction project. Our new facility will include offices, a kitchen and staff area, custom millwork, and a high-end showroom showcasing the materials and craftsmanship that define our businesses.

You'll have the prospect to work directly on a space that will become the face of Urban Timber Reclaimed Wood Co. and texel, our bespoke wood siding and decking company.

What you'll be building

- Office spaces and interior partitions
- Kitchen and staff area
- Custom millwork and built-ins
- Showroom displays and feature walls
- Doors, trim and finish carpentry
- Wood ceilings and architectural details
- General interior finishing and detail work

We're looking for someone who
- Has solid experience as a carpenter
- Takes genuine pride in the quality of their work
- Has solid finish carpentry and woodworking skills
- Can read plans and work from drawings and measurements




- Is comfortable working independently and solving problems on site
- Pays close attention to detail
- Can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship
- Takes ownership of their work and shows up ready to build
