Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Helper to assist a journeyman carpenter in various building and renovation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the residential construction industry. Carpentry apprenticeship opportunities. Seasonal position.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and setup/cleanup of construction sites, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.

- Support carpenter with deck/fence construction, finish carpentry projects, custom framing/renovations.

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.

- Perform heavy lifting and carry materials as needed for various construction activities.

- Various landscape construction tasks mainly but not limited to digging/setting fence and deck posts.





- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in office.

- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements

- Prior experience or familiarity with construction or woodworking is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery is advantageous.

- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.

- Valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
