Contract | Hybrid | Banking – Payments Modernization

About the program

Own delivery across cross-functional streams (Dev, Data, Architecture, Compliance) to modernize payments platforms and integrate new rails/services.

What you’ll do

- Plan and deliver complex payment modernization workstreams; manage scope, risk, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate dependencies across squads; enforce Agile ceremonies and reporting.
- Manage vendor engagements (e.g., networks, remittance partners); ensure regulatory and compliance alignment.
- Drive implementation readiness: environment plans, cutover/runbooks, operational acceptance.
- Communicate program status to senior stakeholders; escalate risks proactively.

Must-have skills

- 8+ years PM in banking/financial services; proven success in payments programs.
- Solid governance/reporting (RAID logs, milestone tracking), and stakeholder communication.




- Experience with hybrid delivery models (Agile + controlled releases); familiarity with DevOps pipelines.

Nice to have (Payments domain)

- Hands-on experience delivering across: SWIFT/Lynx/FedWire, ACH/AFT/EDI/Bills, RTP/Zelle, Interac flows, remittances, tokenization/wallets, shared/data services, sanctions screening.
- Exposure to ISO 20022 transition programs; data/ops impacts.
- Experience with:
- Wires (International SWIFT , Domestic Lynx , FedWire )
- Interac e-Transfers , Interac Bulk EMT
- Payments Shared Services & Data Services
- Payments Sanctions Screening
