Duties

- Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a qualified manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
- Conduct product demos when needed to inform customers about features and benefits of items
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly,



and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Skills

- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and balancing registers
- Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with retail merchandising practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Bilingual capabilities enhance customer interactions across diverse populations
- Demonstrated ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when assisting customers remotely or over the phone
