Energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service Representative responsible for providing friendly and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Handles customer orders, POS transactions, cash payments, and order inquiries while ensuring a positive dining experience. Supports the team by maintaining cleanliness, food-service standards, and an organized front counter.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders, and provide friendly and efficient service.

- Operate the POS system accurately for cash, debit, credit, and other payment transactions.

- Handle cash responsibly, provide accurate change, and maintain transaction accuracy.

- Explain menu items, answer customer questions, and assist customers with special requests or modifications.

- Suggest menu items, combos, sides, beverages, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.

- Assemble and verify customer orders to ensure accuracy before serving or handing them to customers.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter, dining area, and customer-service station.

- Answer customer inquiries in person and by phone with professionalism and a positive attitude.





- Work efficiently during busy periods while minimizing customer wait times and maintaining service quality.

- Follow restaurant food-safety, hygiene, and customer-service standards.

- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth order flow.

- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining organized service and condiment areas.

Key Skills

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Cash handling and POS system experience

- Solid English communication skills; multilingual abilities are an asset

Pay: $15.35 per hour
