Society provides a continuum of support services supporting people with complex life circumstances associated with substance-related and concurrent disorders and homelessness, empowering them to improve their lives through client-centered, evidence-based best practices. Description of Duties and Responsibilities • Prepares meals for detoxification clients, Centre staff, Board meetings and other occasions as required • Orders supplies within the allotted budget, and maintaining inventory control • Maintains order and cleanliness of kitchen facilities and dining area • Prepares meals ahead for weekends and holidays • Collects money for staff meals and remits to the Financial Controller • Interacts with the clients in a caring, non-judgmental manner • Any other task or responsibility assigned by the Senior Manager, Director,



or Chief Executive Officer Position Qualifications • Demonstrated food preparation ability, including ordering, and living within budget guidelines • Demonstrated level of literacy sufficient for job requirements • An open accepting attitude • First Aid/CPR/AED training • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check Hours of work: Permanent, Casual Day Shift work. 4-12 Hour Varied Shifts. Some weekends.
