Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CCTV Technician / IT Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV surveillance systems and IT infrastructure across various facilities. Duties

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras, sensors, and related hardware components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate system setup and maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of low voltage electrical systems, telecommunication lines, and computer networking infrastructure
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, mount, and repair mechanical components of security systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, repairs, and upgrades in compliance with operational standards
- Collaborate with construction teams during recent builds or renovations to integrate security and IT systems seamlessly
- Diagnose issues related to computer hardware, network connectivity,



IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and sensors to ensure optimal system performance

Experience

- Proven experience working with CCTV systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Strong electrical experience with low voltage wiring, schematics reading, and electrical safety protocols
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and networking concepts such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Hands-on construction experience involving the use of power tools and mechanical assembly techniques
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems including sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and schematics interpretation
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and work effectively within construction or technical environments
- Prior experience working with security or surveillance technology in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour
