We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dental assisting who would like to advance their knowledge in Orthodontic care and has a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties

- Prepare treatment stations for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of equipment
- Assist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software (Tops)
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient experience

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of provincial dental assisting program.




- Some knowledge of dental procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic dental software
- Familiarity with intra-oral scanner is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
