**Job Title -
Change Management Lead**
Location - North York, ON M3C 3N6 (Onsite)
Job Type - Full-Time
Salary - $95K to $105K per annum Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership role sitting at the intersection of Change Management, Workforce Planning, Workforce Analytics, Workforce Engineering, Project Management, Business Operations, and Stakeholder Management. The role is responsible for leading organizational change, optimizing workforce strategies, influencing labor decisions, and helping business leaders make data-driven decisions that improve operational performance.
The individual must lead in the truest sense of leadership: creating direction, supervising and developing team members, driving execution across multiple initiatives, and galvanizing stakeholders from executive leadership to frontline operations. This is not a project management role — it requires strategic influence and measurable organizational impact.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Change Management
- Lead organizational change initiatives and assess readiness across the business
- Understand upcoming business changes and develop communication and adoption strategies
- Ensure field leaders and associates are prepared for change, demonstrating empathy throughout
- Drive adoption from senior leadership down through frontline teams
Workforce Planning
- Support labor planning strategies and drive workforce optimization initiatives
- Analyze staffing requirements and workforce trends across stores
- Help determine how labor should be allocated and partner with HR and business leaders on workforce decisions
Workforce Analytics
- Serve as the analytical backbone of workforce decision-making
- Analyze workforce and labor data to identify trends and opportunities
- Translate analytics into actionable business insights and use data to influence decision-making
Workforce Engineering
- Apply knowledge of activity-based labor models, labor standards, and workforce forecasting
- Understand store-level activities (truck unload, replenishment, merchandising, customer service, selling) and how labor models are built around them
- Support productivity measurement and workforce forecasting initiatives
Project Management
- Track timelines, manage multiple workstreams, and monitor progress against milestones
- Identify risks and dependencies, ensure accountability, and drive execution and delivery
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Partner with HR, Store Operations, Merchandising, and Field Leadership (RVPs, District Managers, Store Managers)
- Present workforce insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Take complex workforce analytics and translate them into business language — convert numbers into stories
- Simplify technical concepts from workforce engineers and data teams for general audiences and executive stakeholders
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience in change management — leading organizational change, assessing readiness, and driving adoption
- Robust background in workforce planning, labor strategy, or workforce analytics
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — ability to translate data and technical concepts into executive-ready narratives
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and hold teams accountable
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Nice-to-Have / Outstanding Qualities
- Experience with workforce engineering concepts (activity-based labor models, labor standards, productivity measurement)
- PMP certification
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with G Cloud protocols or similar data environments
- Background in retail operations
