As a Cheesemaker with us, you will manufacture and produce a variety of specialty cheese products according to prescribed recipes and formulations while ensuring daily production, quality, warehousing, and safety objectives are met or exceeded. This role is currently on the afternoon shift (approximately 3pm-midnight), with flexibility required to work different shifts as needed.

Must-Haves

- Minimum 2 years of dairy industry experience in a related production role
- Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education in Food Technology or a related field is an asset
- Experience measuring, mixing, and adjusting ingredients and process controls including pH, temperature, sampling, and texture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and handle products of varying sizes and weights
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Flexibility to rotate between machines, stations, and shifts
- Strong commitment to food safety, quality, HACCP, and GMP standards

You Will

- Assemble, set up, calibrate, and operate cheese-making equipment according to production requirements and SOPs
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately following recipes and formulations
- Monitor product quality and adjust process controls to ensure product consistency
- Operate, maintain, clean, and sanitize cheese vats and related equipment in accordance with HACCP and GMP standards
- Complete production, quality, inventory, and safety documentation accurately
- Coordinate product changeovers, purging, and cleaning activities as required
- Perform safety and quality checks and record appropriate data
- Ensure all tools, materials,



and product coding are correct before use
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas at all times
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings
- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of HTST systems and processing operations
