About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Part time Cheese Shop Assistant to join our team. You’ll assist customers behind the counter, wrap items, and run the cash register.

No prior cheese knowledge is required—just bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers, offer helpful service, and process cash/card transactions accurately.
- Slice, weigh, and wrap cheeses and specialty products to order.
- Keep display cases, shelves, and counter areas clean, stocked, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

- Friendly, approachable attitude with strong communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn about artisanal cheeses and gourmet foods.
- Background in restaurant, café, or customer service preferred.
- Punctual, reliable, and comfortable standing for shifts and handling light lifting.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
