Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for chemistry experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — making a real impact on the future of science-focused AI. Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry
Develop transparent, step-by-step solutions with rigorous logic that serve as gold-standard benchmarks
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and overall quality
Collaborate with researchers to refine and expand benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
Provide structured,
actionable feedback that directly improves AI model capabilities Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and scientific rigor
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows
