Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Chocolatier/Production Manager to lead our artisanal cannabis chocolate creation and production processes. This energetic role combines the artistry of crafting exquisite chocolates with the operational expertise needed to oversee daily manufacturing activities. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the highest standards of quality, food safety, and efficiency while inspiring creativity and innovation in our chocolate offerings.
Your leadership will drive the production line, manage food handling procedures, and uphold exceptional customer service standards, all within a vibrant and fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Lead the entire chocolate production process, from tempering and molding to packaging, ensuring consistency and quality in every product
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and packaging supplies, coordinating procurement as needed to maintain smooth production flow
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and food handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Supervise and train production staff on proper food preparation, safety procedures, and quality control measures
- Ensure efficient workflow by organizing equipment, optimizing space, and implementing best practices for food industry standards
Experience
- Proven experience in a food preparation or kitchen environment within the food industry, preferably with a focus on baking or confectionery production
- Hands-on experience with chocolate tempering
- Strong background in restaurant experience or similar customer service roles that emphasize attention to detail and quality assurance
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Prior management experience in a production or culinary setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with packaging processes for retail or wholesale distribution of confectionery products
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
