Finning is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to support their mining client in Nunavut. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Caterpillar equipment in a unique northern workplace. Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Certification 5+ years experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mining equipment (e.g., Dozers, Track-Hoes, Haul Trucks, Graders, Loaders, Drills, Shovels) Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 years) Strong experience in electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems Engine and/or component rebuilding experience beneficial Transmission or hydraulic testing experience Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 21/21 continuous day/night rotation Commitment to on-site safety requirements
