Position Summary:

Koch Fuel Products (KFP) is seeking a responsible, safety-focused, and motivated Temporary Class 3 Fuel Driver to join our operations team.

The Fuel

Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, loading, and delivery of bulk petroleum products to commercial and industrial customers. This role involves operating Class 3 tanker trucks and other equipment to complete scheduled deliveries while ensuring compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Drivers must demonstrate exceptional attention to safety, situational awareness, and regulatory compliance while working in all weather, road, and site conditions.

The Temporary

Class 3 Fuel Driver is responsible for maintaining equipment to Koch Fuel Products standards and providing professional customer service at all delivery locations and capable of performing shift work, including night shifts, weekends, and project-based assignments.

Schedule:

- Shift work 10-2 rotation (10 consecutive days followed by 2 days off)
- Working hours will average 8 hours on site, with up to 2-4 additional hours for travel
- Shifts may include night work (evening and early mornings)
- May include weekends and extended/project-based work
- Specific scheduling requirements will be outlined in the Employment Agreement.

Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the KFP Dispatcher and Site Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Fuel Driver include, but are not limited to, the following:

Facility and Equipment Management

· Complete daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Identify, document, and report vehicle or equipment deficiencies immediately.

· Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance checks.

· Ensure equipment remains compliant with provincial and federal regulations.

Safety and Compliance





· Safely transport and deliver petroleum products in accordance with KFP policies, CPPI standards, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations, Alberta Transportation regulations, and customer site requirements.

· Follow all loading and unloading procedures, including grounding, bonding, ignition control, and spill prevention measures.

· Maintain accurate records including delivery tickets, Hours of Service logs, inspection reports, and regulatory documentation.

· Operate equipment in a safe manner while adapting to varying roads, weather, and site conditions.

· Adjust driving practices to account for reduced visibility, wildlife hazards, fatigue risks, and changing environmental conditions.

· Report all incidents, near misses, spills, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately.

· Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and company safety initiatives.

Operational Duties

· Safely operate Class 3 tanker trucks and related equipment.

· Load, transport, and unload petroleum products in a safe and efficient manner.

· Follow dispatch instructions and maintain communication throughout each shift.

· Verify product type, quantity, and delivery location before loading and unloading.

· Complete deliveries accurately and ensure customer documentation is properly completed.

· Adapt to various equipment configurations and delivery requirements, including tanker, body job, and flat deck operations.

· Support frac, project-based, and other operational activities as assigned.

· Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
