On site at 2400 Skymark Avenue Unit 4 Mississauga ON L4W 5K5 The pay rate for this role is 27 2850 Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills experience qualifications and internal equity The final offer will reflect the successful candidates background and demonstrated capabilities This position is an existing vacancy within the organization POSITION SUMMARY The Cleanroom Technician reports to the Pharmacy Production Supervisor and operates within the Production department at Fresenius Kabi Canadas Hospital Compounding facility Under the direction of the Supervisor Cleanroom Team Lead Manager of Cleanroom Operations andor Pharmacist in Charge the technician is responsible for the aseptic preparation of sterile admixtures in accordance with company guidelines and master batch records In addition to compounding activities the role supports staging picking decontamination labeling inspection and packaging of all compounded batches KEY RESPONSIILITIES Prepare sterile products using proper aseptic techniques in compliance with established proceduresAdhere to GMP standards SOPs and all quality and safety requirementsPerform staging decontamination labeling inspection and packaging activitiesMaintain proper line clearance and ensure accuracy during all production stepsOperate and maintain production equipment safely and effectivelyEnsure adequate availability of cleanroom supplies to meet production needsComplete all required in process checks to maintain compliance and product qualityParticipate in inventory counts validations calibration and environmental monitoringMaintain cleanliness organization and proper waste handling in cleanroom areasSupport training of new employees and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with cross functional teams including Quality Maintenance Supply Chain and other departmentsMaintain up to date training and comply with all company policies and procedures WORKING CONDITIONS Extended periods of standing and repetitive motionsFrequent use of arms and manual dexterity during compounding and packagingLifting up to 20 kg may be requiredProlonged gowning 45 hours in full cleanroom attireHigh attention to detail required at all times in a fast paced environment QUALIFICATIONS Pharmacy Technician diploma or post secondary education in a related field12 years of compounding experience is an asset SKILLS Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a rapid paced environmentExcellent communication and
