Ritson Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate and experienced Full-Time Veterinary Client Care Representative/Receptionist to join our dedicated team. If you're passionate about animals and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- Experienced in the veterinary field (required), with a strong understanding of client and patient services.
- Personable, empathetic, and client-focused with a desire to build lasting relationships with both clients and team.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- A strong communicator, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with computers and comfortable navigating veterinary software.
- Adaptable, accountable, and eager to learn and grow.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts within our operating hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 7:00 pm, and Saturdays, 7:45 am – 2:00 pm. However, shifts will primarily be afternoon/evening shifts with Saturdays rotations from 7:45 to 2pm.
Experience Required:
- 1+ year of customer service experience (veterinary clinic experience required).
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to clients and their pets.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and client inquiries with professionalism.
- Schedule appointments, triage patients, and process medication refills.
- Manage check-in/out procedures,
financial transactions, and end-of-day reports.
- Maintain accurate client records in a paperless system.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming reception area and waiting area.
- Assist with dispensing medications and follow clinic protocols during emergencies.
