: The Clinical Coordinator, under the direction of the Manger, is primarily accountable for the system navigation and coordination of patient flow on the Nursing unit. This is achieved by the Coordinator having an ongoing awareness and involvement in workflow of the unit. Duties include bed management, discharge planning, advocating for the patient/family, identifying supply and equipment needs and assisting with Staff Scheduling.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

- Three (3) years experience in the specific clinical area
- Three (3) years charge nurse experience
- Five years recent acute or community nursing experience

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable

Competencies
