Job Title: Network Engineer Vancouver, BC (Full-Time) Reports To: Platform Management Lead networking ninja who thrives on crafting rock-solid, secure, and lightning-fast connectivity for cutting-edge platforms? Cloud networking , fine-tuning load balancers, and ensuring seamless data flow? If you’re ready to power the network backbone of our Digital Experience Platform —a game-changer disrupting Digital Retail and Business Banking Digital Experience Platform SOC2 Level 2 Network Engineer , you’ll be the mastermind behind our Azure networking infrastructure, ensuring our platform’s connectivity is as reliable as a Canadian winter.

Reporting to our Platform Management Lead, you’ll weave a network between Azure and other next-generation firewalls on on-prem networks that use Fortinet or Palo Alto that supports our Craft Robust Azure Networks : Azure Virtual Networks (VNets) , subnets, and Network Security Groups (NSGs) to ensure secure, scalable connectivity for our Digital Experience Platform , Establish connectivity between Azure and other networks over IPsec VPN tunnels.

- Manage DNS configurations and traffic routing to ensure our platform’s services are always reachable, delivering seamless digital experiences for retailers and bankers.
- Fortify Network Security : Implement network security policies, firewalls, and encryption to meet standards, collaborating with our overseas team to keep data secure.
- Boost Performance & Reliability : Monitor and optimize network performance using and other tools, ensuring low latency and high availability for our game-changing platform.
- Platform Engineering to troubleshoot network-related incidents, perform root cause analysis,



and keep our platform running 24/7.
- Tackle Technical Debt : Refactor outdated network configs, update security rules, and keep our infrastructure as clean as a freshly plowed rink.
- Platform Engineering , and collaborate with overseas Networking and teams to build a network that supports our disruptive mission.
- Create runbooks and maintain documentation to keep our team aligned and compliance audits smoother than a Zamboni’s finish. University degree in computer science and 5 to 7 years of relevant network analysis experience in a large scale IT setting.
- Networking Expertise : Cloud-agnostic networking (Azure preferred) (Experience managing and optimizing network security policies and encryption to meet compliance, ensuring secure digital experiences for retail and banking.
- Performance Know-How : Proficiency in optimizing network performance and monitoring with tools like Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) or for automating network configurations.
- A knack for debugging network issues, from latency to connectivity failures, and turning chaos into reliable infrastructure.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including overseas Cloud Security and Architecture, while reporting to our Platform Management Lead.
- Bonus Points : A GitHub repo with network automation scripts or a passion for disrupting retail and banking is a huge win.
