Job Summary

Panax Oil & Gas Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Burn Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, nesting with Hypertherm ProNest, and operating our CNC cutting table to produce high-quality precision metal parts. What We Offer

- Hourly Wage: $22.00 – $30.00 / hour (Based on experience)

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (50-hour work week / built-in overtime)

Key Responsibilities

- Nesting & Programming: Utilize Hypertherm ProNest software to program jobs, optimize material yields, and manage plate inventory.

- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC plasma and oxyfuel burn tables equipped with Hypertherm controllers.

- Material Handling: Load and unload heavy steel plates safely using overhead cranes and forklifts.

- Blueprint Reading: Interpret fabrication drawings, nested layouts, and work orders accurately.





- Quality Control: Check parts against drawings using tape measures, calipers, and gauges to ensure zero-defect production.

- Consumables Management: Inspect and replace Hypertherm torches, nozzles, and shields to maintain optimal cut quality.

- Finishing Work: De-burr, grind, and mark finished parts for the next stage of production.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CNC plasma table.

- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with Hypertherm ProNest software is required.

- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

- Equipment Safety: Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Attributes: Strong math skills, great communication, and a safety-first mindset.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
