Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Programming & Materials Processing Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the programming of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, manage materials processing workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with a team of talented trade people. Your expertise will ensure precision manufacturing, optimize supply chain efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate machining operations aligned with production specifications.
- Manage materials processing team and all materials processing activities, including materials processing inventory , material selection, and handling procedures to support manufacturing needs.
- Use Steel Projects and Tekla software to automate all outputs needed for the department.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Utilize applicable software to plan, monitor, and control manufacturing workflows and materials flow.
- Drive initiatives in lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and promote continuous improvement.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet strict standards through inspection protocols and process adjustments.
- Manage supply chain coordination related to raw materials, components,



and finished goods to maintain seamless production schedules.Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC programming, manufacturing processes, or related technical roles within a high-volume production environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and machining instructions.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing techniques or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to coordinate supply chain activities effectively while maintaining focus on cost efficiency and delivery timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate across departments including engineering, fabrication, paint and shipping.
