Job Overview

We are seeking a Collections Analyst to support a global LATAM collections team. This role is ideal for someone with strong collections experience and professional fluency in Portuguese, who can manage accounts, resolve payment issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring timely collections, reducing AR aging, and maintaining strong customer relationships while working closely with internal stakeholders like Sales and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely collections and reduced AR aging
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve payment disputes efficiently
- Evaluate customer payment behavior and determine risk levels
- Negotiate and structure payment plans for delinquent or distressed accounts
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and internal teams to resolve billing and contract issues




- Support process improvements related to collections and invoice lifecycle
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and financial guidelines

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in collections / accounts receivable
- Fluent in Portuguese (mandatory) – both written and verbal
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience handling payment disputes and negotiating resolutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with enterprise-level accounts
- Exposure to CRM tools like Salesforce (nice to have, can be trained)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment & Additional Details

- Hybrid role: 2 days onsite per week in Toronto office
- Must be a Toronto-based candidate
- Will support LATAM region (BRT time zone alignment required)
- Team Size: 11 members globally
- No assessment required
