We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our growing exterior construction team. In this role, you'll contribute to the installation of commercial building envelope systems and architectural cladding products on projects throughout the Edmonton region.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing specialized skills in the commercial construction industry while working with a variety of modern exterior wall systems and façade materials.

Reporting To: Site Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret project drawings, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirements
- Assist with layout preparation and wall system setup prior to installation
- Install building envelope components including air barriers, insulation, and weatherproofing systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble support structures, attachment systems, and sub-framing
- Install a variety of exterior cladding and façade products, including:
- Metal composite material (MCM) panels
- Fibre cement siding and panel systems
- Architectural wall cladding systems
- Insulated metal panels
- Corrugated and standing seam metal products
- Engineered wood exterior finishes
- Complete repairs, adjustments, and quality-control corrections as needed
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment
- Work closely with supervisors, tradespeople, and crew members to meet project schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements

Qualifications
- Previous construction experience is an asset but not required
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor construction work
- Able to safely lift, carry, and handle materials up to 50 lbs




- Comfortable working at heights and using elevated work platforms
- Strong attendance record and dependable work habits
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new installation techniques and construction systems
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- CSA-approved safety footwear is required
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation are considered an asset

Preferred Skills & Experience The ideal candidate may have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Commercial cladding, siding, or building envelope installation
- Metal panel systems and architectural façade products
- Reading construction drawings and using measuring/layout tools
- Operating common construction equipment and tools
- Working on commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects

Compensation Competitive wages will be offered based on experience, qualifications, performance, and demonstrated skill level.

Work Conditions

- Monday to Friday schedule
- Typical start time of 7:00 AM
- Minimum 9-hour workdays
- One-hour lunch break, including 30 minutes paid
- Work performed on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to noise, dust, and other construction-related environments
- Projects located throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas

Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour
