We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and understands the importance of maintaining high cleanliness standards in office and manufacturing settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, staff areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Dust shelves, fixtures, displays, and baseboards
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Clean glass doors, mirrors, and windows
- Spot clean walls and remove marks as needed
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (manufacturing or office cleaning an asset)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning products
