About this role As a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Service Technician, you will visit customer sites to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities - Inspect and maintain air‑conditioning and HVAC systems.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines.
- Service refrigeration equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.
- Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems.
- Assemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design.
- Keep detailed maintenance records, ensuring compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED.

- 5+ years of experience as an HVAC journeyman.
- Valid G2 Gas License/Certificate and HVAC 313A License.
- Valid driver’s license and good standing with Union, or eligibility to become a member.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand, crawl, sit,



and squat for extended periods.
- Able to climb ladders and work at heights.

Preferred Qualifications - Customer‑focused mindset with strong relationship building and upselling abilities.

- Proficiency with MS Office, laptops, and handheld devices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to work with chillers and complex HVAC equipment.
- Gas 1 License.
- Experience with chillers.
