We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join one of our Canadian brokerage partners. This role will manage and service a commercial insurance portfolio while partnering closely with clients, Producers, Account Executives, and insurance carriers.

We are open to candidates located in ThunderBay, Smithville and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned commercial accounts.
- Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships.
- Prepare submissions, applications, renewals, certificates, endorsements, and policy documentation.
- Coordinate renewals, policy changes, endorsements, and other servicing needs.
- Review coverage and policies to identify discrepancies and opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes, coverage options, and terms from carriers.
- Support Producers with current business, renewals, and client retention.




- Maintain accurate account information and documentation within brokerage systems.
- Provide responsive, knowledgeable service to clients and internal partners.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
- Experience managing a commercial book of business.
- Strong communication, organization, and client-service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance brokerage management systems.

Licensing

- Active provincial general insurance/broker licence appropriate to the location of employment is required.
- For Ontario roles, RIBO licensing at the level appropriate for the position is required.
- Licensing in additional Canadian provinces is an asset.
- CIP or CAIB designation is preferred.
