This senior-level position encompasses full lifecycle management of functional safety, demanding extensive knowledge of safety regulations and practical experience in automation. Collaborate with Controls Engineers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and innovation in safety systems. Your leadership will foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:



• Leadership in developing and maintaining safety management plans • Conduct hazard assessments and establish safety requirements • Review and approve design specifications and validation metrics • Collaborate on Factory and Site Acceptance Testing activities • Mentor junior engineers in safety practices and standards

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • Qualified Engineering licence in British Columbia • Minimum of 5 years in industrial automation engineering • Functional Safety certification (e.g., TÜV) required • Strong knowledge of IEC safety standards and risk analysis
