Position Overview

Aster Medical Clinic is seeking a compassionate Family Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. You will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while promoting preventative care and healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and diagnostic tests.
- Manage chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) and treat acute illnesses.
- Develop personalized care plans and offer health education on disease prevention.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, referring patients to specialists as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EHR systems.
- Stay current with medical advancements through Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Qualifications:

Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA

Qualifications

- MD or DO with active license to practice in [Insert State/Province].
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with chronic disease management and EHR systems is a plus.

Additional Information

- Recruiting Organization: Community Clinic

- Compensation: Salary will be based on Fee-For-Service (FFS) earnings in accordance with the Alberta Health Schedule of Medical Benefits (SOMB). The expected range for earnings is approximately 350K to 450K annually, depending on patient volume and services provided. Please note that the clinic's overhead structure will be discussed with candidates during the interview process.
