About Granda

Granda Technologies is a Calgary-based AgeTech startup building senior-friendly technology that supports social connection, engagement, and healthy aging.

We are looking for a warm, confident, and organized Community Partnerships Coordinator to help introduce Granda to senior centres, community organizations, older adults, and potential partners throughout Calgary.

About the Role

This is a hands-on community outreach and business-development position. You will help Granda build relationships with senior-serving organizations, arrange meetings and demonstrations, support pilot programs, and collect feedback from older adults and community staff.

The position is well suited to someone who enjoys meeting people, is comfortable initiating conversations, and wants to contribute to an early-stage social-impact technology company.

Responsibilities

- Research and identify senior centres, community associations, retirement communities, nonprofits, and other senior-serving organizations
- Contact organization managers and program coordinators by phone, email, and in person
- Introduce Granda’s services clearly and professionally
- Schedule meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and information sessions
- Attend meetings and community visits with Granda’s founders
- Follow up consistently with prospective partners
- Help coordinate small pilot programs with interested organizations
- Demonstrate the Granda app and help older adults install and test it
- Gather structured feedback from older adults, families, and organization staff
- Support community events, booths, workshops, and presentations
- Maintain accurate contact and follow-up records in a simple CRM or spreadsheet
- Prepare brief weekly reports on activities, feedback,



and partnership progress

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, patient, respectful, and comfortable working with older adults
- Confident contacting new organizations and speaking with decision-makers
- Organized and reliable, with strong follow-up skills
- Able to explain technology in clear, simple language
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, mobile applications, and online meeting platforms
- Available during weekday business hours for community visits
- Able to travel to different locations within Calgary
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas would be an asset:
- Community outreach or partnership development
- Senior services, aging, healthcare, or social services
- Nonprofit or community organizations
- Business development, customer engagement, or relationship-based sales
- Event coordination or public presentations
- Supporting older adults with technology

Reliable transportation is an asset. Approved work-related travel or mileage will be reimbursed.

What Success Looks Like

During the initial contract period, the successful candidate will help Granda:
- Build a qualified list of senior-serving organizations
- Establish meaningful conversations with community decision-makers
- Arrange meetings, demonstrations,



and information sessions
- Identify organizations interested in participating in a Granda pilot
- Collect useful feedback to improve Granda’s services
- Develop respectful, long-term community relationships
