- Develop landlord relationships and maintain affordable housing for individuals with mental illness.
- Collaborate with community mental health services to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Provide ongoing, flexible support to clients in their home environments.
- Assist clients in making informed decisions regarding housing and support services.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act and related legislation.
- Post-secondary training in Mental Health Work or Human Services.
- Valid First Aid Certificate and Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Clean criminal record check.
Skills:
- Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and social modeling abilities.
- Familiarity with mental illnesses and symptoms.
- Knowledge of funding sources for housing options.
